Bottled Water Informational Kiosk
Bottled water, in Gainesville, Florida and particularly at the University of Florida, is a commodity that is overused. Our municipal tap water is clean and by purchasing bottled water we are contributing to the wasteful use of materials and resources. To bring awareness to this issue I chose to create an installation that would be visible in a high-traffic area on campus near a concentration of vending
machines. The panels are intended to educate viewers about the wastefulness of bottled water in terms of energy, money, materials, and natural resources.
