University Gallery 2010–2011 Season
The University Galleries at the University of Florida includes three individual gallery spaces located within three separate buildings. For the 2010–2011 calendar I created a design that showcases each gallery according to a shared timeline so that visitors could see what exhibitions were occurring simultaneously.
Two of the main shows that season, artist Edgar Heap of Bird’s Most Serene Republics and Sideshow, a collection of circus banners, shared a common link through the use of bold typography and vibrant language. I wanted the designs of each brochure to reflect these shared features yet still retain their own distinct tone.
