Arrow Artifact Contributions

Contributions of artifacts containing arrows were solicited from visitors to the show. The accumulation of visitor contributions creates a collectively curated environment where the awareness of arrows and the variety of meanings and functions is learned through the act of participation. As more artifacts are added to the shelves each return visit to the exhibition offers new objects to look at and observe. The accumulation of these contributions is an additional motivation for return visits. The variety of objects further reinforces the ubiquitous influence of arrows in our physical and material culture.
